Wanted!! Current and past videos with AF Speed skaters in them. I have been updating our video page and if you have videos that you would like to share let me know. I'm also looking for updated and past photos with AF Speed members. So the more that you can send, the cooler the website will be.
Hey, did you know that if you forgot your check to pay for practice/monthly dues, you can use our Donate button to do that? Just make sure that when you make the payment, in the Purpose box you mention Practice fees/dues...we get notified and you don't have to worry about bringing cash or checks to practice....just get there, put your skates on and skate.....
| Hey! Guess what!? Our first Indoor Race is on the weekend of January 28 & 29, 2012! Guess where? That I will not tell you. Gotta go to the Upcoming Events page to find out. Just a little activity for you to do......Also, be sure to keep up with our current practice schedule by going to the Calendar page as this can change without notice.....
Now that our Indoor Season is official, we really need to get on the ball with our skating ability. Hence, we really need to make use of all of our practice time! That means that we need to get to practice on time, or better yet, early. Lets get our skates on and be on the floor no later than 8:40pm! Lets work together to bring home the hardware this season! Guess what?! Floor is done and is looking great, feeling great, and very faaassst......!! Do you want more floor time? This has been brought to my attention by several skaters. In order for us to get the requested floor time, we need more skaters. So what is it that I am asking of you to do? Well, if you have friends or relatives that like to skate and feel that they have something to prove, tell them about us. You know that the first practice is free for new skaters.....so have them come and give it a try....who knows, you might get a relay partner from it.....oh, and don't forget to have a helmet for them. Several months ago, we had signed up with PayPal for donations. This too, will get us that floor time that we're requesting. Also donations allows us to help pay for team expenses such as banners, trips, practice equipment, and the like. If you have friends or family who would like for us to excel in this sport direct them to our website. The donate button is to the left and yes, it is TAX DEDUCTIBLE!!  We had a great year. Have you filled out your application for your USARS Amateur Card and turned it in? If not, please get that taken care of.....how you ask? Here is your link for your application then give it to Tina at practice..It makes more financial sense to get the card for the year instead of paying every time you go to a meet.....
